Hi, my name is Todd Chambry.

I founded Fancy Fur after graduating from Rochester Institute of Dog Grooming. I saw the need, not only for skilled dog groomers, but for the convenience of mobile dog grooming.

With Fancy Fur, I provide the highest quality care and personal service that you and your dog deserve. I will groom your dog with compassion, as if it were my own. I take a very gentle approach.

I only groom 3-5 dogs a day. This allows me to take as much time as we need for a proper grooming, with as little stress as possible. I will never rush you or your dog.

Many dogs just don't like car rides, and mobile grooming eliminates that drive to the shop. This is convenient for you as well, by saving you time and keeping your car clean of dirt and hair.

After the first visit, your dog will become familiar with me and the routine. Compare that to busy grooming shops, where your dog is often handled by several different people, all strangers with different techniques.

Fancy Fur uses the very latest in mobile grooming technology. We're sure that your best friend's visit with me will be a safe and happy experience. With my mobile unit, your dog will not be distracted by other dogs. I do not use cages or cage dryers; (those are horrible things!)

My unit is a self contained, heated and air-conditioned facility, requiring nothing from the homeowner except a place to park. It's a pleasant, safe, and sterilized environment, with calming aromas and soothing music to relax your dog. While I find most dogs do better if the owner is not present, you're welcome to sit in and watch me work.

I've owned and cared for dogs all of my life. Right now, we have 4 dogs in our family. I'm experienced, certified and insured.
